Diákközpontú megújulás a jövő iskolájáért

Projektünk létjogosultságát elsősorban az a 2018-ban elindult, iskolai megújulási folyamat alapozta meg, mely a Göllner Mária Regionális Waldorf Gimnázium első 7 éves tevékenységét követő új fejezet kezdetét jelölte. Az ekkor megfogalmazott általános cél egy, a mai kor elvárásainak és kihívásainak megfelelni tudó, modern iskola létrehozása volt. Ennek a hosszú távú, egyetemes célnak konkrét leképezése Európai Fejlesztési Tervünk, mely diákjaink fizikai, lelki, szociális hátterének megerősítését, idegen nyelvi és anyanyelvi kommunikációs készségének fejlődését, valamint a mai kor technológiájának pozitív hasznosulását eredményezi.

A projekt ezekhez a célokhoz segít közelebb kerülni az alábbi konkrét célkitűzésekkel:

 

- az intézmény nemzetközi dimenziójának komplex, európai mobilitásokon alapuló kiszélesítése a mobilitásokban résztvevők idegennyelvi kompetenciájának fejlesztésével,

- a tantárgyi integráció folyamatának dinamizálása,

- az iskola diákságának nemzetközi partnerségi kapcsolatokon keresztül történő mobilizálása,

- az európai jó oktatási és pedagógiai gyakorlatok megismerésén alapuló stratégiai, módszertani, oktatásszervezési, élethosszig és az élet minden lehetséges területére kiterjedő tanulási módszerek meghonosítása,

- tanári kollégiumunk támogatása modern, 21. századi praktikákkal, tanulói igényekre építve és egyúttal fejlesztve a diákok lényeglátását, problémamegoldó képességét és kritikai gondolkodását,

- a belső és külső kommunikáció javítása a Waldorf pedagógiához jól adaptálható, alternatív módszerekkel,

- az IKT eszközök tanulást segítő lehetőségeinek kiaknázása,

- a későbbi nemzetközi diákmobilitások feltételrendszerének előkészítése.

 

A 13 hónapra tervezett projektben 16 olyan mobilitás valósul meg 3 turnusban, melyek révén a tanári kollégium módszertani, idegen nyelvi, pedagógiai, tanulásszervezési, célnyelvi és európai kultúrákat érintő országismereti tudása megújul, az intézmény nemzetköziesítési törekvései stabil alapokra helyeződnek. A résztvevők többsége a tanári kollégium tagjaiból tevődik össze, de az iskola gazdasági vezetője is aktív részese a projektnek. A projektet 7 különböző képzőintézmény bevonásával kívánjuk megvalósítani az alábbi helyszíneken: Egyesült Királyság, Görögország, Horvátország, Izland, Írország, Málta, Németország, Olaszország, Portugália és Spanyolország, 2020 júniusa és 2021 júniusa között.

 

A projektcsapat elvárása, hogy mobilitásaink és egész projekttevékenységünk eredményeként az iskola pedagógiai, módszertani  és idegen nyelvi kommunikációs megújulása közelebb hozzon bennünket a modern, 21. századi, nemzetközi dimenziójú, diákközpontú Waldorf iskola eszméjéhez. Arra is számítunk, hogy a megvalósítandó projekt stabil alapot fog képezni a diákjaink továbbtanulását, karrierépítését és az élet egyéb területein történő boldogulását illetően egyaránt. Hisszük, hogy diákjaink, szüleik és tanári kollégiumunk európai kultúrákkal, jó gyakorlatokkal történő megismertetése hosszú távon pozitívan járul hozzá intézményünk nemzetköziesítési folyamatának kiterjesztéséhez.

 

A projekt legfőbb hozadéka tehát intézményünk stratégiai jelentőségű reformjának komplex, átfogó továbbvitele, melynek elsődleges szereplői diákjaink, ugyanakkor a szülők mellett kulcsfontosságú tényezője tanári kollégiumunk, melynek megújulása iskolareformunk megvalósulásának záloga.

 

The foundations of the relevance of our project were primarily laid down by the innovation process of our school, launched in 2018 marking the beginning of a new chapter of Göllner Mária Regional Waldorf Secondary Grammar School, following the first 7 years of its operation. Our general goal set at this point was to create a modern school capable of meeting the requirements and challenges of our age. The specific realisation of this universal, long term goal is our European Development Plan, which is expected to conclude with the strengthening of the physical, emotional and social background, the development of the foreign language skills and mother tongue communication of our students, as well as the positive utilization of modern technology.

 The project will contribute to the approximation towards these goals with the following specific objectives:

 

- the complex broadening of the international dimension of the school based on European mobilities by means of developing the foreign language competences of the mobility participants,

- dynamizing the process of subject integration,

- mobilizing the students of the school through international school partnership projects,

- internalising strategic, methodological, organizational, lifelong and lifewide learning techniques based on the experience of European good educational and pedagogical practises,

- supporting our body of teachers with modern, 21st century methods, building upon students’ needs as well as developing students’ cognitive abilities, problem solving skills and critical thinking,

- improving internal and external communication using alternative methods which are easily adaptable to Waldorf education,

- exploiting the learner-friendly potentials of ICT tools,

- preparing the conditions for prospective international student mobilities

 

As part of the intended 13-month-long project, 16 different mobilities will be realised in 3 phases, through which the methodological, foreign and second language, pedagogical, organizational and cultural knowledge of the board of our teachers will be revitalized. Besides, the internationalising efforts of the school will pay off. The majority of the mobility participants are made up of members of our body of teachers; however, the Head of the Financial Office of our school is also a full member of our project team. The project will be realised with the involvement of 7 different educational institutions on the following locations: Croatia, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Spain, Portugal and the United Kingdom, between June 2020 and June 2021.

 

It is the expectation of the project team that, as a result of our mobilities and all of our project activity, the pedagogical, methodological and foreign language communication innovation of our school should bring us closer to the idea of a modern, 21st century, student-centred Waldorf school of international dimensions. We do hope that the prospective project will constitute a firm basis for the further education and career building of our students, as well as for their success on the other fields of life. We believe that familiarising our students, their parents and our board of teachers with European cultures and good practises will mean a positive long-term contribution to the extension of the process of internationalisation in our school.

 

The uttermost benefit of the project, therefore, is the complex and comprehensive continuation of our fundamental and strategic school reform, in which the primary focus remains on our students, however, besides our students’ parents, our body of teachers is equally considered of key relevance, whose revitalization will guarantee the implementation of our school reform.
